Organette Cobs
By Robert Linnstaedt

I have a project in mind.  I own two 20-note organettes and have found few cobs available a) at reasonable prices, b) in good condition, c) with "happy" musical selections.  Since these are a rather low-tech creation, I have considered making my own cobs.

** Does anyone out there know if any of the original cob-making
    machinery is extant?

** Are you aware of anyone who is currently making new cobs?

** Has anyone had experience in this endeavor? (Information about your
failures is as helpful as about your successes).

Tell me what you know.  I thank you for any input.
