Howdy Folks...

   Just made an interesting purchase at the local Tower Records yesterday -
"The Magic of the Barrel Organ" on CD.  It's published by a company called
"Eratos".

Anyway... it has about 16 songs recorded from three different dance/band organs.
(A Limonaire w/xylophone, a "Gross Orgue Gaudin", and a third I can't remember
right now...)   The songs are polkas, operetta overtures, marches, waltzes...
etc.  It's really cool - and well nigh annoying to my neighbors when piped
through a 200 watt sound system at full volume!

So... just thought I'd pass this along to the AMMlist in case you'd be in for
such a recording.

PS:  Anyone out there know of any other available recordings of orchestrions,
     band organs and the like?
