With all of this interest in the RCA tones, does anyone know the origin or
significance of a three note mini instrument that has metal bars and tubular
metal resonators. The bars are brown with NBC engraved and the resonator is
brown wrinkle finish paint. Sound quality seems to be inferrior to what would
ordinarily be needed for on-air use.
