Hello all again,

I thought I would mention that in an auction in the UK there is
a very nice musical box (sale is 23rd March)
The description is a full orchestra box with two sets of three
bells, castanetts, drum, with organ accompanyment and two dancing
dolls.
I have not seen one with dancing dolls before, perhaps others have.
I haven't seen the box yet as it is about 250 miles away, but I have
heard it play on the phone and have booked a telephone bid. (there
is no tune sheet)
The estimate is 3000 pounds. Perhaps 4500dollars US
Question. Is this fair, too much, too little?? for this item.

I understand the sale at Sothebys (Mechanical music) was a wash-out,
many items unsold, mainly the more expensive ones. I left a bid
on the Cabinetto organette but was unsuccessful. Well thats life.
