MMD Archives June 1996 1996.06.24 02 Prev  Next Kilgen Player Residence Pipe Organ By Marc Kaufman I have just acquired an 8-rank Kilgen Residence pipe organ, with a 4-roll player. The tracker scale is described in Bowers & Reblitz (Treasures of Mechanical Music) on page 411. Alas, the test rolls which were presumably in existance in 1981 can no longer be found. I would appreciate any information on Kilgen organs, and on Roesler-Hunholz Concert Organ rolls. The organ was removed from its original installation about 6 years ago, and needs extensive rebuilding (every piece of leather has decayed or been eaten by rodents).
