Finding Reed Organ Parts
By Gloria Schack

To: Jim Cullen
From: Gloria Schack

Don't discard the idea of taking parts from an old reed organ to build a new one. Many collectors squirrel away salvageable parts from non-restorable instruments for decades, just waiting for someone who needs them. Advertising for parts in the Musical Box Society Bulletin is a good place to start. Good luck with your project - you will probably meet lots of neat people in the process of finding the parts you need.
