Re: MB Plays Japanese Songs (Digest 960720)
By Robbie Rhodes

Dear Miho,

I'm elated that you will help us! The Digest members will be interested in your informative letter:

Bob Fine and I will make a cassette tape and send a parcel to you, with photographs also. Thank you very much, Miss Miho! This is exciting!

Please tell us in the Digest group <rolls@foxtail.com>, more about the Shi-ko-kin. Why was it so popular? For how many years was it produced? What styles of music were played upon it? What tuning temperment was used? (I'm curious if traditional Japanese music suffers when played on instruments tuned with the Equally-Tempered tuning ... like Yamaha pianos! :-)

By the way, which e-mail address should we use for correspondence about Automatic Music (niftyserve or yamaha)?

Best regards, Robbie Rhodes
