We recently acquired a Clariona organette (14 notes, 8" wide). It has
been reconditioned with re-done bellows and the case is in excellent
condition. It also has the "reed pipe" attachment.
However, the three highest note reeds are broken and, thus, do not play.
(They are visibly broken; the reed is broken off).
Does anyone know of a source for reeds for Clarionas? How difficult are
they for a novice to replace? Is there a special tool necessary?
Thanks for any help.
