I enjoyed immensely Bill Clark's factory recollections. Here is a
question for him, or anyone else familiar with Ampico lore.
I received as a present a stained-glass window that was said to have come
from the Ampico factory. It is about two by three feet. It has the word
"AMPICO" embedded in a very colorful background, and the bottom of the
window resembles a piano keyboard. This was purchased by my sister from
a chap in Eugene, OR, who apparently hung around the factory when he was a
kid and saved the window from destruction.
Does anyone know anything more about this artifact? Of course, it hangs
over my Knabe Ampico B !
