Sunday morning Pacific time, Play-Rite had a fire at their warehouse in
Turlock. I understand that 88-note rolls, O-rolls, and other inventory,
some machinery, and office equipment, as well as part of the building was
destroyed.
Perforators and much of the other roll-making equipment were at another
location and are still set up. Although some backup supplies for our
projects were damaged by the fire, Violano rolls will continue to be
shipped, after a small delay. I do not anticipate any other long-term
problems with other projects scheduled, although I do not know the
situation with the standard stocked player rolls as yet.
I am continuing to take roll orders for Violano rolls, as this inventory
was also stored elsewhere and is available now.
