Sealing Pouches
By Craig Smith

Hi again,

I have replaced the pouches on an instrument and need to seal them before I button it up. I have used egg white in the past but I am somewhat concerned about its edible nature. I have had suggestions of egg white, mink oil, rubber cement of various mixtures, etc., including suggestions from a workshop at the last MBSI meeting (which I can't remember).

I put good money and time into the instrument and the materials to restore it so I'd really appreciate the expert advice of some members to help me finish it up based on the latest experiences. What say you? And thanks for the help!

Regards, Craig Smith
