Baldwin Manualo Modello
By Debbie Legg

Larry, the gasket material that you are referring to under the striking pneumatics is double weight motor cloth and should be replaced with the same. I hope that before removing the pneumatics you marked their locations on both the pouch and valve boards, as this is the only way to assure correct placement when reattaching them.

If you don't have a copy of "Player Piano Servicing and Rebuilding", by Arthur Reblitz, now is the time to get one. There is an excellent section on rebuilding Baldwin players. If you will be doing any more player work in the future, this book will be an indispensable guide to all makes of players and reproducers.

If you have any other questions on the Baldwin, please feel free to contact me.
