Band Box in Austin TX
By Bill Finch

The County Line Restaurant in Austin, Texas, has a Chicago Coin Band Box located on the wall just above the bar. It is like the ones described so far in MMD: green and red and gold, curtain that opens, musicians that play along with the juke box.

It used to play with each selection of the juke box but now it's turned off because they are changing their decor. They were formerly decorated in a sort of late 40's motif but are now changing to a sort of junk- laden fishing camp look.

It is possible that they would consider selling it since it no longer goes with the decor. Just a guess. They have parted with a few items in the past. Good luck is you want it.
