Douglas Henderson wanted me to assure all that his favourite recording
is by Oscar Levant with the Whiteman Orchestra, possibly produced in
conjunction with the film "The Gershwin Story", starring Robert Alda.
I've not heard of this record; perhaps someone can help me fill in the
