Electric Valves for Midi Control

Who sells valves suitable for controlling pianos via MIDI?  I have seen
literature from Ragtime Automated Music -- their valves are obviously
suitable, but not cheap when purchased 100 at a time for a piano
restoration.  Do others offer competing models?
