I want to thank all those who privately contacted me during an extended
hospitalization.  I will be contacting some of your privately, and want
to post a few very brief notes here in catching up.  Thanks again for
your thoughtfulness, and for keeping the MMD at my bedside.  I have three
short notes that I am separating here for the ease of this distinguished
group, and a postcard to Robbie from East Hampton Connecticut is in the mail.
