Mahopac Auction Results
By Philip Jamison

It was requested I post some additional results from the Mahopac, New
York sale. All prices include 15% buyer's premium.

Berni Organ Facade: $8625. This was a large Gavioli-style facade of
the open-front style. It needed plenty of work, but had the Art Nouveau
decoration.

15 1/2" Reginiaphone, floor model: $4600.

B.A.B. monkey organ with wood trumpets. Nice inlay. Unrestored. $4600.

"Muir Wood & Co." chamber barrel organ with 6 stops, 5 barrels, 7' tall;
unusual front shifter lever, played OK, looked good. $2415.

Coin-op Swiss train station-style cylinder box with 2 dancing figures:
$3105.

Regina Hexaphone: $7705.

15 1/2" Regina bow front changer (oak): $17,825.

16 1/2" Mira table model: $3680.

Barrel piano with 2 drums; missing some case pieces (spring-op): $1610.

Welte miniature keyboardless piano. A cute one; original and playing
somewhat. Probably a Kohler & Campbell Tom Thumb back. Carved case
front with roll storage.  $5750.

Peerless A-roll nickelodeon, missing knee-board and glass: $2070.

Nelson-Wiggin Nickelodeon with xylophone (playing): $4485.

Western Electric keyboardless nickelodeon (small, like a Seeburg L):
$4600.

Nelson-Wiggen Nickelodeon with xylo., bass & snare, bells and triangle
(not playing, but looked very clean): $6440.

Austrian empire-style barrel organ secretary (with 4 barrels). 2 ranks
of wood pipes, I think, fusee drive, very clean and pretty with ormolu
mounts.  $7130.

English chamber barrel organ by Wm. Rolfe with "Patent flageolet & Tubor"
(the former being a turned wood pipe); with 11 stops: "flageolet, tablor,
drum, st. diapason, op. diapason, principal, flute, triangle, organ";
missing all the metal pipes, but very nice carved case: $7130.

Concert Roller Organ: $259.

There were a few others, but that gives you a good idea.
