Not So Nice Memories of the Ampico Factory
By Bruce Clark

Since much of the discussions of Ampico and history is being kept, there
is one bit of trivia that is little known, and I would like to add.

While most everything at the Ampico factory was neat and clean and worked
like clockwork, there was one thing that bothered me terribly,
and that was the condition of the rest room facilities in the factory
areas.

They were dreadful! Either they left them dirty to prevent unnecessary
time spent "resting" or they cut corners by not having them cleaned
properly.

They were so bad, sometimes I would drive home, and back rather than use
their facilities.
