Geo. P. Bent Company
By Philippe Rouillé

Bonjour, A collector has lent, to the Musee des Arts forains in Paris,
a "Nickelodeon pneumatic piano" by the Geo. P. Bent Company. I have not
seen it myself, but I wonder who was the Geo. P. Bent Company. Nothing
in the Bowers Encyclopedia, neither in Ord-Hume books.

Only a few lines in Player Piano Treasury by Harvey Roehl, page 18 :
"The Crown-Combinola, by the George P. Bent Company of Chicago, was
evidently meant to imply a combination of the Crown piano and a player
unit". That's all.

Does anybody has any information on the Geo. P. Bent Company and its
products ? Thanks for the answer (if any).

Bonne journee,

Philippe Rouille (Paris, France)
