AMICA Leo Ornstein Literary Award

Hi, all!  My congratulations to David Saul on receiving the
Leo Ornstein Literary Award for his contributions to the field of
automatic music over the past 30 years.

AMICA (Automatic Musical Instrument Collectors' Association) has been
an excellent source of technical information for me over the 23 years
that I have been a professional player piano rebuilder.  I have always
enjoyed David's articles and admired him for his technical expertise
and consequently have referred to him as the "technician's

We are all in this for the love of the instrument, whether we do it as
a hobby or professionally.  I will never get rich rebuilding these
old instruments, but I truly do enjoy working on them and bringing
them back to "life".
