Repairing Torn Leather on Reservoir
By Tommy Forney

Greetings from the carrousel restoration in Shelby, NC. Our recently
acquired Artizan A-2 Band Organ has been entertaining (if extra loud)
with the 16-gallon Shop-Vac replacing the vacuum bellows.

Saturday I got some help removing the large General Electric motor
(anyone know how to research old motor model numbers?) and lifted the
top and top bellows out of the case. (This organ was refitted with a
Wurlitzer roll mechanism and the bellows). Just as I was hoping, there
was a large and obvious tear on the reservoir leather that looks to be
very repairable.

My question is: What are some materials and adhesives to use to repair
this leak which should be fairly easy to get to and patch? I prefer
not to replace the entire reservoir leather since most of it is okay
for now.
