FS: Chickering & Wurlitzer & Artecho Players
By D. L. Bullock

This may be an unfortunate time to do this, because I am leaving for
Wichita Falls TX to reinstall a pipe organ that had rats destroy 13
reservoirs. But I will be back in a week and a half or so. I had
some great luck in that I have several things that came my way of an
exceptional nature.

For sale:

Chickering 5'8" Ampico A totally untouched unrestored. We had staff
refurbish piano action. Unknown whether Ampico is still playable.
Tubing is crispy. Finish is usable original. Piano has been well
taken care of. No rolls. $4,500.00

Chickering 5'8" Identical to above except some center pins in action
were binding. In refurbishing we freed them up replacing some center
pins. Price is low because they may seize up again someday $3,800.00
If this shop restores either of above, subtract $1K from price.

Artecho Wurlitzer 6'6" re-strung, restored, in great shape. We will
do a concert hall regulation on action before delivery. This was not
restored in this shop but quality is much higher than I usually see
from other shops. Kavoras did pneumatic restoration. $18,000.00

Small Artecho "Art Apollo" Obviously Wurlitzer built. Totally
untouched unrestored condition, Thick black crazed finish. Piano
plays well, player does not play $3,200.00

As usual we still have around 100 88-note unrestored players available
from $295--$495. Volume discounts. I have to pass up 90% of the others
that find me. I fear the ones I do not take will go to the dump, so
I wish I had more room.

Keyboard Carriage will charge as much as $250 to move grand from our
loading dock to your local loading dock (piano store or moving/storage
facility), plus what your mover charges to get it home from there.
