Two weeks ago my wife Mechthild and I met Craig Robson, the owner of
the museum "Antique Mechanical Music" which is located in 338 Botany
Road, Alexandria, a suburb of Sydney (Australia) near the airport.
We didn't know him before. Via MMD-activist Peter Coggins we have heard
about that museum (thank you Peter).

A friend of us in Sydney help us with a few phone-calls, to find out,
when we could visit the museum.  We got the information: Museum is
closed!  In one phone-call I spoke with Craig Robson and I told him
about the Internet, the MMD and coming from Germany.  He wanted to
hear more from us and invited us to a restaurant near the Rocks.
There we met him.  We had a fantastical lunch and exchanged a lot of
information.  He told us, that his museum is closed.

The building get repaired.  The roof is removed, the apparatus are
covered or packed in.  Craig Robson thinks, that he can reopen the
museum between the middle and the end of April 1998.

By the way, I was not online for more than 2 month.  I have the feeling,
that my provider has erased all incoming e-mails which where older than
4 or 5 weeks.  If some one has send me an e-mail between the middle of
January and the middle of February, please try it again.
