Coin Machines by Mills Novelty Co.
By Jon Guy

Just thinking of one of the more interesting Mills coin machines I've
owned.

A couple of years back, I had a Mills perfume vendor. A one cent
machine that dispensed perfume and a tune. You inserted the coin and
turned a crank that wound a spring device that powered the small
cylinder music box mech. and also the plunger that squirted the
perfume from the mouth of a pretty figurine. At the end of the short
tune she squirted. Ladies would hold a wrist (neck) near the mouth of
the figure and catch the squirt I suppose. I never put anything except
water in the thing.

The only other one of these I have seen is in a the frontier museum
in Dodge City.
