PPCo Reiterating Beater
By Peter Coggins

Hi, I recently bought a reiterating snare drum beater from the Player
Piano Co. and it does not seem to work properly. It's very touchy and
only occasionally reiterates and only at a certain vacuum level.

Does anybody know how these work? It will save me taking the new cloth
off to find out.

It does not appear to be like the reiterating mechanisms I have read
about which switch back to the pouch from the beater travel. This one
has a normal valve and the rest is inside the pneumatic. Thanks,

Peter Coggins
