Booklet for Building a Barrel Organ
By John Kleinbauer

Hi All, I just spent the last two years designing, building and
documenting how to build a barrel organ. My booklet is 87 pages of
step by step instructions. The following is the preface from the book.

Okay, here it is! A project that is timeless. A music machine
that was used over one hundred years ago.

Barrel Organs were used to attract people to peddlers and
dancing bears. Some used pipes for sound while others used reeds.

Imagine a project that can be built with only hand tools, a drill
press, belt sander and materials found in most locations. The
music reeds come from a harmonica. Canvas that is coated with
paint and silicone takes the place of expensive leather. PVC
plastic eliminates the need for warp-free hardwood.

All the intricate parts have been simplified to make this project
possible. If you build this project you will, learn to drill,
tap, and shape PVC plastic. The project was created to show just
how versatile PVC plastic is. The final product only requires you
   to turn the handle.

Feel a machine come to life and produce music on its own. This
project is not hard but it does take time. This project is for
engineering students, music lovers and hobbyists.

The booklet is $30.00 and that includes first class shipping. Five
dollars of each sale will go to the group that helps me sell each
copy.
