Paul Torin's Wurlitzer 164
By Matthew Caulfield

Paul Torin lives in Sarasota, Florida, and has sold his 164. I don't
recall who bought it, but I know Tim Trager knows. I never heard the
organ in person, but I had an LP record of it, and it was 'mighty' rather
than 'noisy', as Robbie speculates.

[ Hal Davis, who saw it several years ago, wrote to me, "Yes, it was
[ loud, but not bad. With all the brass it was a great sounding organ
[ and would have been a real delight if it had been properly tuned."
