Cat Siren in "Flip the Frog"
By Jim Canavan

Jeff's description of the historical cat organ is a cartoon waiting
to happen! Then again, I have an 8-mm copy of a 1930 "Flip the Frog"
cartoon (animated by Ub Iwerks, who drew the earliest Mickey Mouse
cartoons) in which a cat is mounted atop the hood of a police car as
a siren.

As the police car careens along the road, the cop (a dog, of course)
cranks the cat's tail to sound the siren!
