Solvent for Masking Tape Adhesive
By Bing Gibbs

Here's my comments on Goof Off. If you read the side of the little
5 oz. can, it says, "Contains Xylene". I'll bet that is all that's
in the can, just Xylene.

Just go to your local hardware store and buy yourself a quart can of
Xylene. It sells for around $5. This is a much better bargain and
it removes all of the goo from labels and masking tape, etc., just like
Goof Off. Test the Xylene first as it will dissolve some plastics.
It is an excellent solvent, though, for removing most gooey stuff.
