Pronunciation of "Hooghuys"
By Ingmar Krause

Well, I haven't heard it by Belge people, but I heard it the way
Dutch people said it. So, here's my way of telling you how to
pronounce it. If someone knows better, that's fine, too. :-)

Here we go: Separate it into two words, "hoog" and "huys", and
replace them by two words you know. The best fitting for the
pronunciation I found are "hog" and "Heuss" (do you know the
pronunciation of Theodor Heuss?!?)

Now speak it without making two words out of it, but also without
a too big a break in it: "hog-Heuss" (Nooo... Theodor Heuss was
no hog... ,))

Hope this helps,

greetings by(e) InK -- Ingmar Krause
