Mark Hass, RPT, in Dearborn MI
By Norm Banta

introduction to Mark and Charmaine Haas

Mark has been a player piano specialist for 25 years. We met while
studying tuning and servicing at the Piano Clinic, Batavia, New York.
This was a school where people who are blind or partially sighted could
be introduced to different aspects of this vast field.

Mark has been an RPT in Piano Technician's Guild since the mid-80's.

In 1980, Charmaine met Mark while he was playing guitar with his band
in Dearborn, Michigan. They have been married for 16 years.

You can find Mark's shop in Dearborn, Michigan. He rebuilds and sells
players from the average to the reproducer.

Part of Charmaine's job is collecting and selling player rolls. She
has about 500 Welte rolls that collectors may purchase. I'm sure you
might find other treasures in her collection, too.

It is important to know that they do not have a computer. You need
to contact them by phone or mail. It is best to reach them after 7:00
P.M. Phone: (313) 274-9525. Their address is: Mr. and Mrs. Mark Haas
3551 Williams, Dearborn, MI 48124-3749.

I know you will find them friendly and knowledgeable.

Norman Banta, RPT
