Angelus Melodant Player System

I would like to know how the Angelus Melodant Player actions work.  I'm
assuming they work just like the Aeolian Themodist Pianola and also play
the "Themodist" rolls?  Are the Angelus Melodant rolls compatible with
the Aeolian Themodist rolls?  Or do Angelus Melodant rolls only work on
Angelus Player Actions?  What does the Melodant lever in the key slip
do?  Thanks for any info.
