Sources of New Barrel Organs
By Philip Jamison

If you wish to send me an S.A.S.E., I'll send you a list of new
portable organ makers. You won't find much today under, say, $2500.
Also, there is no big discount buying direct, since most makers sell at
the same price their agents do (the agent's markup is only about 20%,
I think). In fact, you might do better buying from an agent, as they
occasionally are overstocked or have a discontinued model to sell.

A few makers (LeLudion and Jaeger & Brommer are two) have nice web pages.
Two or three makers still produce actual pinned barrel-operated organs,
but most today are roll, book, or electronically actuated. Have fun!
