Seek Source for Quarter-Sawed Oak Panels
By Reg Smith

Please forgive this for being slightly off-topic, but I am repairing an
oak cased style 11 Regina table top music box which is missing the
quartered oak panels which were originally just behind and in front of
the bedplate. Does anyone on this list know of a source for "quartered
oak" in a dimension of approximately 1/4" - 3/8" thickness, and at least
5 inches width? I thought with all the piano folks on this list,
someone would have needed quartered oak for replacing panels on one of
those instruments.

Would appreciate any and all replies.
