Overheating Nickelodeon Turbine
By Larry Mayo

I'm in the process of rebuilding my built-up nickelodeon, and I've
always had a sticky problem with the turbine on rewind.

With no major flow of air from the stack, the turbine overheats.
If I shut it off on rewind, there is no vacuum to operate the switch
pneumatic that shifts the roll drive back to play mode.

I experimented with a lower speed for the turbine, but it still begins
to show signs of overheating after a couple of minutes into the rewind.
Has anybody come up with a fix for this?
