Following the thread on tuning devices, I bumped into the following
web site set up by Steve van Nattan:

Among other things, it offers a free download of a tuning program of
which van Nattan thinks most highly, as well as access to his book on
piano care, maintenance and repair.  He also has piano parts and
supplies available at what appear to be reasonable prices.

Some of the site is eclectic; it is clear that the author has opinions.
However, this appears to be an interesting resource and it's worth a
visit.  Feedback on the utility of this site would be appreciated.
