49-Key Marenghi of Wookey Hole Caves, Somerset
By Jeremy Brice

I was pleased to read in MMD 990206 (yes, I am behind in reading my
MMDs!) that Tim Blyth is overhauling the ex-Wookey Hole Caves Marenghi.
One extra snippet of information I can add that reinforces the Belgian/
Dutch connection is that some of the old books on the organ were cut by
a member of the Hooghuys family (my memory fails me as to which one).
This only came to light when the present owner attempted to remove some
covers put over the originals by the late Bill Barlow when he owned it.
