Applying "Silver Fox" Finish
By Steve Walker

Hi all, I have been lurking in the background for about 8 months just
enjoying the daily posts. I know an introduction is long overdue and
I will give everyone formal introduction in a few days. But for now,
I have a question.

I will be building a small hand cranked organ and I would like to do
the case in a Silver Fox finish. Can any of you tell me how to apply
it? A good description would be a black stained open grain wood with
white filling the grain. I think this is close to the description in
the glossary of Bower's Encyclopedia. I am sure if any one would know
how this was done it would be someone from MMD.

Thanks,

Steve Walker
