Although this does not pertain to Mechanical Music, I think it may be of
interest to some, if not many MMD'rs.  I was saddened today to hear of the
passing of veteran jazzman James Eugene "Rosy" McHargue.  There was a
wonderful musical celebration of Rosy's 97th birthday last April with the
grand gentleman himself at the center of the festivities.  Rosy left us
around noon today at his home in Santa Monica.  He was a musical associate
and dear friend of mine, as he was to Robbie Rhodes and hundreds of others.
Rosy will be deeply missed.
