Organ at Larkin Soap Company
By Bill Budenholzer

I'm curious about the Larkin Soap Manufacturing Company wrappers
described by Marty Roenigk. [ "Packaging Concert Organ Rollers",
990815 MMD ]

Frank Lloyd Wright designed and built an office building for the Larkin
company. Mr. Larkin thought his employees were more productive if they
were surrounded by "Tempus fugit" type slogans, but he also thought
that music made them more productive and he had an organ installed in
the building. I've always assumed the organ was played by a person but
now wonder. Do you or anyone else have an more information about the
Larkin cobs?
