Band Organ VS. Coin Piano Arrangements
By Andrew Barrett

Hello everyone.

There is discussion of the arrangements of rolls for band organs going
around and I had an idea for a mini organ that uses pianinio coin piano
rolls. I was thinking against the roll format because of its arrangement
until I remembered 2 things. The first one was something Mr. Brougher said
in a past digest about how 4X rolls sounded good with even a "tremolo"
effect when played on the Seeburg G. Doesn't that relate to band organ vs.
piano arrangements? The second thing is, my design looks just like a
Wurlitzer 50 (kiddie organ)with more ranks plus bells and a snare drum on
top, and is an expanded version of it. (they both use pianinio rolls). Any
thoughts on this?

Thanks.
Andrew Barrett
