"Mr. Christmas Holiday Music Box" & Alternative
By Steve McCollum

I bought one of these at Sam's Club, intending to give it as a
Christmas present. However, when I looked at it, I had second
thoughts. The final nail in the coffin (and it sort of resembles one!)
was the word "Holiday" on the front.  I took it back for a refund;
after all, it was supposed to be a "Christmas" present, not that
amalgamated "holiday" that a local DJ calls "ChrismaHanaKwanzaDan."

But all was not lost. Our local Marshall Fields store had the Lenox
Christmas Angel on sale at 30% off. It's a beautiful piece of
porcelain, and the little music box in the base plays a short version
of "Amazing Grace" and has a fair tone. And they had about a half
dozen of them left!
