C. Borden & Co. & Concert Roller Organ
By Todd Augsburger

A couple of corrections on the "C. Borden & Co." Concert Roller Organ:

First, although the distributor's label mentions the "New American
Music Box" name, this particular organ has a "Concert" stencil.

I understand (from Kevin McElhone, Richard Dutton) that the ornamented
wooden face plate is found on several Concert organs. It may have been
intended to mellow the sound, but probably had little effect in a
locked case...

So the only "extras" are the locks, and the trip-release lever.
Consensus so far is that they're added post-manufacturer.
