Dual Reproducers for Edison Phonograph
By John Kadlec

Dual reproducers were indeed furnished with the very last of the
Edison Diamond Disc phonographs, which were the Schubert and Beethoven
Edisonic models.

The basic reproducer furnished was the New Standard Reproducer which,
in conjunction with a large horn, allowed these phonographs to play
Edison Diamond Disc records with quite a bit more volume.

The additional reproducer furnished was an Edison lateral-cut sound
box with adapter tone arm, for playing 78 rpm records.
