Look on the web at http://www.midiator.com/
You will find a company wich sells, for a very reasonable price,
converter boxes that attach to your serial or parallel port and convert
the information to MIDI data output.   They also sell some other very
useful products.  The owner is Ron Perry and I have found him most
helpful and pleasant to deal with.
