Seek Wireless MIDI Link
By Gerry Bay

Here's an additional twist on the current MIDI thread. I want to make
my laptop truly portable so that I can drive different instruments in
different rooms. I use a Portman PC/P parallel MIDI interface.

What I want to do is connect some kind of a little transmitter to
my laptop and have the receiver in the piano along with the Portman.
Thus, I could then move from chair to chair or room to room with my
laptop. Anyone know of a wireless device like that? Thanks for any
help you can give.

Gerry Bay

[ A wireless USB link might be available soon, but the cost for all
[ the other adapters to make a system work probably exceeds the cost
[ of a second-hand laptop computer for each instrument. -- Robbie
