Rubber Belts for Piano Pumps
By Berley Firmin

Hi everyone, I am in need of a new pump belt for a Fischer Ampico
grand. Should I order one from Player Piano Company, or do you think
I can find what I need at a large belting supply company?

I hate to drive 80 miles round trip into the city (New Orleans) and
put up with the traffic. Can I get a suitable belt at another source?

The belt that is on the pump is a fractional horsepower one (I think)
with the small kerfs cut into the underside. It squeaks, so it mustn't
be properly seating in the pulley groove. Any ideas?

I searched the Archives, but all I found was a source for round leather
belting. That would be great for _my_ Duo-Art, but can I use rubber?
