FS: "Welte Test Roll 2000"
By Bob Taylor

Last March, I indicted that I was developing a new Welte Licensee test
roll. That roll in now available and is called "Welte Test Roll 2000".

The object of this roll is to ease the technicians job when regulating
the piano. The original test roll is not user friendly. For example,
the critical timing tests are near the middle of the original roll.
Since that roll has no cancel perforations except at the roll
beginning, the roll must be rewound to the beginning to repeat any
test.

This new roll has the necessary cancel perforations immediately
proceeding each test. Additionally, the critical timing tests are at
the very beginning of the roll. Rewind perforations covered by
removable tape following each of the first three tests, allowing the
technician to remain positioned under a grand piano as these tests
repeat automatically.

Other time savers are included. Several new tests have been added
to help in achieving a less mechanical, but more musical performance.
The roll still maintains the exact same timing parameters as in the
original roll.

The roll cost is $25.00 US plus $5.00 domestic shipping. Complete
instructions and roll test identifier markings included.
