Building Street Organs
By Mickey Sadler

Hi All,

While looking at the FOPS link page I found a link to John Anderton's
Organeze site at http://www.organeze.freeserve.co.uk/index.html.htm
where he describes the organ he built and offers an electronic
controller to play street organs. He also has two files to download,
the first is the free software used to write the music (done in a pioano
roll format, but laid out as music staves) and save it to the EPROM on
the controller, or play the organ, or print a template to punch books
or rolls. The other file is a write up on how to build the organ,
including how he made the pipes, magnet valves, etc. (His method of
making reed pipes is interesting.)

I think it's worth a look for anyone interested in building a small
organ.

Later,
Mickey
