Bell Player Piano
By Julian Brook

Mark, I have a Bell, but the player action seems to be a Baldwin. It
has the mechanical ears up from the tracker bar that are for tracking
and the more square than rectangle holes in the tracker bar for the
keys. I was told that Baldwin only put their actions in pianos from
the 'House of Baldwin', so does that mean that the Bell is a Baldwin
make?

Yes, you are crazy to restore a player, but no more so than the rest of
us. I had done an old Stark upright for my son about 18 years ago, but
never a player. But I recently had 4 players almost drop in my lap, so
I am learning, doing, asking questions and generally having a great
time! Go for it! :-)
